Louisville (KY) Courier, November 13, 1852

   On Wednesday night last, three negroes, belonging to Mr. Abraham Piatt, of this county, ran away. On Thursday afternoon he received a telegraphic dispatch from his son-in-law, who resided in Urbana, Ohio, stating that he had apprehended them at that place. This makes twenty-nine slaves that have ran away from this county since the first of September.
