We hear that yesterday a company of runaway slaves from St. Louis and Kentucky, some fourteen in number, passing north through this county, were discovered, and a party of three men, attempted to arrest them. A general fight ensued, in which there were some bloody heads and noses exhibited. The result of the engagement was the capture of a lame negro, who is now in the jail of this city.
