SALEM, (DENT Post office.) The county seat of Dent county, Spring Creek township, containing four churches, viz: Presbyterian, Methodist, Baptist, and Christian, one Odd Fellows' Lodge, viz: Salem, No 118, a Female Seminary and a High School.
