MAYSVILLE, The county seat of De Kalb county, Camden township, is situated on the H. & St. Joseph Railroad; was first settled by James Sloan. It contains four CHurches, viz., Cambellite, Missionary Baptist, Methodist, (south) and Cumberland Presbyterian; a High School, a Masonic Lodge, viz., Maysville No. 62, and an institution called Marysville Lyceum, numbering 48 members.
